Brett Harris the CEO and Founder of  Simplified Print Management started his career in the printing industry more than 35 years ago. He started out as a printing tradesman in New Zealand. For the next 23 years, he worked at various different printing companies acquiring new skills, experience and understanding of the challenges his printing clients face. 8 Years ago he decided to open his own print management company. He makes it his professional goal and company policy to be a print partner that solves printing challenges.

BRETT’S PRINTING PASSION

When asked why he is passionate about the printing industry, Brett said:  “It’s the people aspect I’m passionate about, building partnerships of trust, solving problems, trying to give the best possible result at the right price. I love the energy, the urgency and the challenge of doing the challenging jobs and wowing the client. Giving the client one point of contact through the whole production process, and being able to offer the latest technology from the industry out there and not being tied down to one printer.”

With your 35 years in printing, this enables expert quality control and ensuring print jobs are completed on time and to the right format/colour/spec - reducing wastage and risks. There is recourse if a print job goes wrong. You understand the different equipment and processes printers use, so you can find the right solution for every job and gaurentee quailty and speed. Because of your knowledge you can identify the pitfalls and anticipate problems or costly errors before they happen. You have a wide and reliable network so you are able to shop around for the best prices and negotiate preferential rates and delivary times, you are also able to identify the best printers to handle specific orders. You manage proof to print, finishing to stocking and distribution (and everything inbetween) to anywhere in the country. So the client deals only with one point of contact - reducing time, paperwork and supplier management. You streamline the process making it easier for both the client and the printing supplier. The real benefit if a company has a lot of printing requirements you are able to track and streamline the process making it easier for all departments involved. It also costs the company nothing, if anything it saves the company money. The clients needs are also are always a priority - so you are able to choose the best option to meet the clients brief.
